QA Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Engineer with more than 1 year of experience in quality assurance and software testing. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of testing methodologies, be proficient in identifying bugs, and ensure the overall quality and reliability of our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to ensure software functionality meets both user and business expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts to identify software defects.
• Work closely with development teams to understand project requirements and scope.
• Perform manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications.
• Document and track software bugs and inconsistencies using bug tracking tools.
• Participate in design reviews and all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Ensure all software releases meet quality standards and user requirements.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues, troubleshoot, and assist in problem resolution.
• Perform regression, integration, performance, and usability testing.
• Maintain test documentation, including test cases and reports. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in QA and software testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Over 1 year of hands-on QA experience.
• Familiarity with manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail).
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Experience with mobile application testing.
